I vote yes. There is no way that America could even begin to make up for the evil that was slavery, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try. Meantime, we bail the same white folks out time and time again, when we know the same issues will keep happening. We have people all along the coast who get hit by hurricane after hurricane, but they won’t leave. It’s craziness. Maybe reparations done right might make an actual difference.
